Overnight leader Moritz Lampert with a level par 72, comfortably secured the Portuguese Amateur Championship at Montado Golf Resort today.
The German’s final total of 279 (-9) left him two clear of fellow countryman Marcel Schneider, who had carded the best round of the day with a 66.
Britain’s best finishers were England’s Greg Payne from Surrey with a solid two under par 70 putting him in 8th place and Eddie McCormack from Ireland, who had been in the mix all week.
Jamie Rutherford from England was level par and tied 11th with Jack Hiluta from Essex tied 16th at one over par.
